An evergreen tree from Central America, under the right conditions Ross Sapote has smooth creamy fruit with a delicious caramel smell and flavour. To be at it’s best, Ross Sapote needs a warm sheltered spot, with well drained soil.
These are one year old trees, with a well developed root system.

Grows slowly to 2-5m in ideal conditions, Prefers well drained soil. May need additional watering when flowering

Ready to eat when the fruit splits open slightly at the top.
Position
Will do best in a sunny and warm location that is sheltered from the wind when young. Needs shelter from frost.
