This is a lovely looking tree, with aromatic leaves and delicate white flowers. The cherries are tasty when ripe, and can be really sour when they’re not ripe. The leaves change colour with changing temperatures, and are a deep red in the winter.

 

Self fertile

 

Grows slowly to 2-5m in ideal conditions, Prefers well drained soil.

 

Fruit

Ready to eat when the fruit changes colour to bright orange or bright red

 

Position

Will do best in a sunny and warm location that is sheltered from the wind when young. Needs shelter from frost.

 

Care

Protect from frost.
